Cetaphil Moisturising Cream Review

Cetaphil Moisturising Cream Review

Cetaphil Moisturising Cream works well for dry skin and normal skin. This cream is not compatible with oily skin but I still like it in terms of how I use it. Although I have oily skin, I use this cream on the dry areas around my chin but not the rest of the face and it works pretty well. (I have combination skin)

Cetaphil Moisturising Cream Review

Cetaphil is a dermatologist-tested skincare brand and I am sure most of you have heard about it. If you haven’t, here is what they say in their packaging. The Cream is said to contain a superior system of extra-strength emollients and humectants. It is said to be clinically proven to bind water to the skin and prevent moisture loss. The product claims to be a long-lasting relief for severely dry skin. It also states that its non-greasy formula is great for different parts of the body such as hands, feet, elbows, knees, and any other areas that require intensive moisturization.

My Experience

My first experience with the moisturizer was not that great as my skin started to get much more oiler and started breaking out.

I completely stopped using it for a while. However, after a few days when I was watching James welsh’s YouTube channel, he was explaining his combination skincare routine and how he applies two separate products in the targeted area only.

Since then, I only apply the moisturizer in the targeted dry areas and I love it. My targeted skin feels moisturized yet not stretchy. It does a good job on hydration. It also is very light.

I think this product is more suitable to dry skin. A lot of people have been saying say good things about the cream. I have also read that doctors recommend this product for dry, rough, scaly, or itchy skin as it balances the Ph in the skin. In fact, I remember reading on quora of an elderly person who looked very young that her secret is this cream. So, do give this cream a try if you have dry skin or a similar type.

P.S. My experience need not necessarily match yours depending on our skin types.
